Mundelein For Appropriate Development (MFAD) is a grass roots organization of individuals and families living in and around the Village of Mundelein and Lake County who are concerned about the current direction and future of our community as growth and development are rapidly beginning to occur

Our goal is to foster a much needed and long overdue open working relationship with our elected Village officials and potential developers, as well as other county and state officials that will ensure vital, responsible growth and change in Mundelein.

We support growth that:

  • encourages open, honest discussion and planning between our residents and our elected officials.
  • protects our hard earned tax revenues and assures fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • is mindful of the environment it impacts and the face of the land it forever changes.
  • addresses the critical need for essential infrastructure development.
  • will continue to enhance and support new and existing neighborhoods, schools and businesses.

We are excited about our town’s future and hope together, we can continue to make Mundelein a great place to live, work and visit – now and for the future.

We invite you to explore our Web site to learn more about the issues facing our community and how you can make a difference.
